The City of San Carlos is famously known as the “City of Good Living” where it offers an ideal climate in a robust and successful region. The city is home to the San Carlos Airport, as well as the Hiller Aviation Museum, a kid-friendly museum specializing in helicopter and aviation history.
The City of San Carlos is also home to numerous wineries such as Cuvee Wine Cellars, Domenico Winery, Flying Suitcase Wines, Russian Ridge Winery, among others. Many of the wineries are within walking distance of Caltrain and can all be visited in one day. Furthermore, plenty of shops are in abundance along with Holly and Laurel Streets, San Carlos Avenue, and El Camino Real.
